Kids say the profoundest things.

Absolutely true samples of kid-thought:

Jill: "I know why kids can't go in the Temple!"
Mom: "Oh yeah? Why?"
Jill: "Because the Temple is a peace place."

Crew: [while climbing a tree]"What holidays do trees have?"
Stacy: "What? I don't think trees have any holidays."
Crew: "No, when do they grow up? Like birthdays."
Stacy: "I guess they don't get to celebrate like we do, they just grow all year long."
Crew: "No, I know! They have a holiday, and then they grow up!"

Jill: "Why did Dad say 'the sun is Steednuh'?"
Stacy: "No, he said, 'всем стыдно,' it's Russian.
Jill: "What does that mean?"
Stacy: "It means before the face of God all are ashamed."
Jill: "Why?"
Stacy: "Because He's so much better than us."
Jill: "I'm not ashamed. I just do my best."

Jilly Bean, we love you!!! (And you too, Stacy).

I love kids at that age, from about three to about 7 or 8, you never know what they're going to say and it's amazing how much insight they have.
